Win32s is software
written by Microsoft
which allows you to run Win32
-based applications on Windows
version 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups
versions 3.1 and later.
The Win32s upgrade is available in the Microsoft Software Library (MSL) as Pw1118.exe. The Win32s upgrade includes OLE support and is currently at version 1.3c. It is highly unlikely (read: it ain't gonna happen) that it will be revised in future.
Back when I had Windows 3.1 on my ol' 386, I installed Win32s just and only so that I could play Freecell.
