A refrigerator-sized machine which allows one to procure food, of the none-too-healthy variety. Some of these foods which may be acquired for mere change are:

chips
cookies
gum
granola bars
candy bars
soda

Those of us who spend much time at work (or in our dorm rooms) probably live almost exclusively on this form of nutrition, with the occasional pizza thrown in for balance.

It is an interesting fact that many food items acquired from vending machines list more than two servings per container; do they really expect people to eat only half or a third of the item?

It is understandable if they do, given how unhealthy most vending machine items are.

It does not, however, explain why the 16oz bottle of Poland Spring Sparkling Spring Water Mandarin Orange Flavor with Other Natural Flavor From Maine, which has no nutritional content at all, has two servings...

(perhaps the long product description is such a mouthful that they think it deserves a serving, itself?)
