Frank Zappa's first documented band (a high-school rhythm-and-blues affair), formed in 1955 when he was the tender age of 14. The band was led by Elwood "Junior" Madeo and also included Stuart Congdon on piano. Little Frankie Z played the drums for this outfit, which lasted all of a year.
