A group of people who love the constant stimulation of a coach standing over them with a stopwatch, screaming "FASTER!!!!", and the ample rewards of competing in swim meets. This is usually the next logical step after swim lessons, but is a whole different world. Much harder than running or any type of team sport, of course. Usually has at least a few guys in speedos.
