Rikishi is the Japanese word for a sumo wrestler. This character also wears an adaptation of a muwashi, a part of the traditional dress worn by sumo wrestlers in their matches.

What gets on my goat is that everybody in the WWF, including Rikishi, mispronunces his name. They all pronounce it "Ra-ki-shi" when it should be pronounced exactly as it's written.

Pedantic, yes, but it is still pretty frustrating.
