Pronounced with silent 'h' (ambugessa)

A Mexican version of the hamburger. The ingredients of the hamburguesa vary according to the place of purchase. A reputable restaurant may make a tasty burger with ham, beef, loads of chili and some mustard sauce. A dodgy roadside diner may make a roadkill-on-a-toasted-stale-bun. Usually quite tasty. YMMV.
