A gun cabinet is usually a large cabinet with a glass door and built-in gun rack. It used to display guns in a nice but controlled manner. Unlike a gun case, it will not protect against things like fire, but it will keep people from actually gaining access to the weapons without a key. Usually gun cabinets are found in the homes of hunters or gun collectors.
