This is a process in which genetical information, shortly - genes is expressed. A gene in a living cell is first transcribed to RNA by an enzyme called RNA polymerase. Usually it is transcribed to messenger RNA (mRNA), and then translated to a protein by complex enzymes called rybosomes.
