Etox is a text layout abstraction, built on top of
Evas. It is intended to abstract text layout to allow different fonts, colors, styles (outline, shadowed, etc.), word wrapping, paragraph layout, columnation and wrapping of text around obstacles in the text area.
You can think of etox as something like
LyX or
HTML, in the sense that it abstracts text layout, using a
script-like interface,
Etox is part of the
Enlightenment window manager.
