The official motto of the Sovereign of the United Kingdom since the time
of Henry VI, this phrase translates into English as
God and My Right. However this phrase does not appear on the
royal coat of arms which instead bears the phrase
Honi soit qui mal y pense, taken from the ancient
order of the garter.
