Again is the most wonderous of all words. It can make even the tiniest of actions prominent, and can take the largest of events and make them beyond belief. Examples: I fell. I fell again. See? Watch again! You stole my tin foil and made little superman horns that you wore while shoving watermelon seeds in Billy's nose. You stole my tin foil and made little superman horns that you wore while shoving watermelon seeds in Billy's nose, again. See?

When I thy singing next shall hear,
I'll wish I might turn all to ear,
To drink in notes and numbers such
As blessed souls can't hear too much;
Then melted down, there let me lie
Entranc'd and lost confusedly,
And by thy music stricken mute,
Die and be turn'd into a lute.

--Robert Herrick

he walks

hands on his head

he walks

easy and slow

he walks

I watch and I wonder

what piece of the heart

who wears his cap backward

his good suit on Sunday

and roots for the Packers

he walks like a Kyle

he shuffles his feet

in a holster he carries an AR-15

and he walks

hands on his head

easy and free

two people are dead

he walks

I watch and I wonder

what piece of the heart

let this happen again.
