1938-1995. Bob Smith, from Brooklyn. An all-time great rock and roll DJ; he was heard in a large chunk of the US via high-powered AM radio stations based in Mexico, rasping and yowling his way through intros, outros, commercials, etc, as wild&as the music. Longtime fan Don Imus will occasionally do his Wolfman impression (one might say he channels him for seconds at a time) or play an old aircheck snippet. Cameos in American Graffiti and The Guess Who's "Clap for the Wolfman".
