the ceiling fan-soft clicking overhead-
only spreads it around
sweaty glasses on the floor by the bed,
leaving puddles on hardwood
the blue light stretches across the headboard
catching your wrist leaning against it
only your toes have sheets
humidity & exhaustion cover the rest
