The program within Microsoft Windows (post Windows 3.1 which had File Manager) which allows users to browse drives, directories (aka folders), files, networks and devices attached to the PC (i.e. digital camera).

Users can quickly get to Windows Explorer by pressing the key combination Windows key+E
