Willie the Wildcat is the mascot of Kansas State University. Usually a smallish guy in a large stuffed wildcat head, "he" has sometimes in actuality been a "she", IIRC.

Best known for his antics during KSU football games, he leads the crowd in some chants and does a pushup for every point scored by K-State, every time new points are scored. Must have very powerful arms recently. The author will not even attempt to compare Willie to another school's mascot.
