A microscopic village in Wiltshire, England. Notable for its proximity to Avebury and Silbury Hill, and for West Kennet Long Barrow, a classic example of a prehistoric British tomb. The barrow is some 150 feet long, and contains a number of stone-walled chambers, originally holding several human bodies each. Large upright stones guard the entrance.

West Kennet's name is connected with that of the River Kennet, which lies between the Long Barrow and the Avenue.
