The student-run radio station at Duke University. The station's broadcasting tower blew down in 1996 during Hurricane Fran and it was a long time and a lot of fund-raising concerts before XDU got their tower back. You can still barely hear it outside of Durham.

Mostly, XDU plays excellent music: indie rock to country to electronic to jazz. Both students and locals spin at XDU.
