A joint venture between the BBC and Flextech television, which runs a collection of channels on cable, digital satellite, and digital terrestrial television, many of which seem to exist purely to show repeats of old BBC shows.

These are:

• UK Gold (and UK Gold 2) - Classic comedy, soaps and dramas
• UK Horizons (and UK Horizons +1, which shows exactly the same, but an hour later) - Somewhere along the lines of the Discovery Channel, but with a lot more docusoaps. And Emergency Vets.
• UK Style - where DIY and Cookery shows go when they die.
• UK Drama - Serious dramas, like the Beeb's Jane Austen adaptations
• PLAY - music videos during the day, recent comedy by night, and some orginal programming, such as a daily video request show based on the Top of the Pops format.

More generally, of course, it's the television channels which broadcast to the UK.
