Using the weapons and the booster rod he stole from The Ark in issue 26, The Mechanic is stealing hi-tech equipment from different facilities. Grimlock, the new leader of the Autobots, sends Blaster and Goldbug to retrieve the stolen Autobot items. They soon run into detective Greco from the Portland P.D., who is also after The Mechanic.
