Actually, it was originally released on the Hollywood Records label, but within a day of its release, Hollywood dropped ICP from the label, and asked that the records be pulled from stores. Many were bought before they could be removed from the shelves, and after negotiating another deal for distribution, the album was re-released by Island Records. The reasons for Hollywood dropping the album is still a point of debate. The band officially claims that Disney, the parent company of Hollywood, bowed to pressure from the religeous right and dropped them, while others maintain that it was all done for publicity.
