1980s cowpunk band, merging Western styles and lyrics about desperadoes with a goth-punk attitude that was admirably conveyed by the husky, yelping vocals of lead singer Texacala Jones. Brought forth three albums, Tex and the Horseheads, Life's So Cool (produced by X's John Doe), and a live album before calling it quits in 1986.
