The Supreme Beings are a likable, unassuming trip-hop group which is a joint collaboration of guitarist/programmer Rick Torres, bassist/programmer Kiran Shahani, and keyboardist/programmer Ramin Sakurai. While they were working, they decided to bring along singer/songwriter Geri Soriano-Lightwood to help them out. They released their self-titled debut in 2000 on the Palm Pictures label. They use lots of funky instruments. But, it's mostly just for kicks, and you can tell it by their music.
