Played
guitar with
Bruce Springsteen in the
legendary E-Street Band. He is frequently called "
Little" Steven Van Zandt and is almost always seen wearing a
bandana.
In 1982, Van Zandt released a fairly successful solo album titled Men Without Women. In 1984 he officially left the E-Street Band and began working on an anti-apartheid project Sun City.
Little Steve reunited with his old band in 1999 for a worldwide reunion tour. He also took up acting and received critical acclaim for his role as Silvio Dante on HBO's wildly successfull The Sopranos.
