If there is only one good, cheap phone, this is it. I have worked in retail before (See Circuit City, ack) and noticed that most cheap phones are trash. They break, they hiss, they hang up randomly. But this little devil, retailing at about $20 has lasted through more power surges, coffee spills and random acts of violence than any piece of hardware I have ever owned. Kudos to the little black phone.
