Not to say that he hasn't tried to teach me these things, but I don't think he taught me these things consciously. It's just who he is.

I am not as smart or clever as I think I am. He is.
Don't node drunk.
The nodes that matter, matter. The ones that he nukes, I most likely won't like in the morning, either.
A compliment from dannye means more than a compliment from anyone else on this site, for two reasons: 1- He doesn't give them out very often, and 2- he means every word.
To be strict is to be concerned- To care. I wish my parents were like that.
Writing one good node that gets no attention is still more satisfying than writing ten high-rep nodes you can't be proud of.
Node for the ages, coz someday, he'll find something you wrote two years ago that you don't even remember writing and he will nail you.
Be honest. He knows more than you can possibly imagine.
