Japanese abbreviation for "Shotarou complex", as the mirror of Lolicon, i.e. sexual attraction of adult females towards underage boys. The name is derived from that of the boy hero in the mecha anime Tetsujin 28 aka Gigantor.

Usually, it manifests not directly and instead is a subgenre of yaoi - i.e. the shotacon-afflicted female fantasizes about a sexual relationship between the boy and another (usually adult) male.
