Shindenfudo Ryu Dakentaijutsu Happo Biken (The Immovable Heart School)

Originating in the 12th century this school specializes in Jujutsu and Iainuki (fast sword drawing).

The current soke is Masaaki Hatsumi.

One of the nine schools of ninjutsu, founded by "Izumo", who was also a student in Chinese Kempo Boxing. Izumo Kanja is also credited as being the founder of kukishinden ryu

"This Ryu originated by Genpachiro Tameyoshi in the mid 12th Century. It is traced back to the Kosshijutsu which was introduced by Izumo Kanja Yoshiteru. A characteristic of this Ryu can be found in its recognition of natural style as the only posture of defence. However, in reality, a person imagines a posture of defence in his mind and places himself on guard"
"Hidden Ninja submission" by Hatusmi Masaaki

  1. Know that the endurance is simply a putt of smoke
  2. Know that the way of man is justice
  3. Forget the heart of greed, ease and relying on others.
  4. One should regard both sadness and malice as natural laws, and just gain the enlightenment of an unshakeable heart
  5. In your heart never leave the ways of loyalty and filial peity.
There are two styles of Taijutsu, Dakentaijutsu and Jutaijutsu. Hojojutsu, the art of tying someone with a length of rope, is also taught in this Ryu.
