Sequential Circuits Prelude

A multitimbral 4-section orchestral synthesizer with a 49-note keyboard. Released in 1982.

Two of the four sections (piano, organ, brass and string) can be played simultaneously in a 49-note polyphony. The editing capabilities are very limited, and there is no MIDI support nor patch memory. For modulating the single-oscillator sounds, a 7-band EQ and a built-in chorus/flanger effect are available.
