The patron saint of Finnish vinyards.

Erho, according to legend, drove the grasshoppers out of the vinyards by walking through the fields shaking his pitchfork and shouting "Grasshopper, grasshopper, go away!". He is commemorated by Finnish Americans throughout the upper Midwest every March 16th.

A statue of St. Erho can be found in Menagha, Minnesota. It was carved from the trunk of a local tree with a chainsaw, and features a grotesquely oversized grasshopper impaled on Erho's famous pitchfork.
