This company is the South African goverment's state radio and TV agency. This puts them in a similar position to that which the BBC holds in the United Kingdom.
Fortunately, they are no longer the only company broadcasting on radio and TV in South Africa.
The SABC is most notable for transforming from a strictly anti-ANC party line, spineless toady of the National party in the Apartheid era, into what it is today: a strictly party line, spineless toady of the ANC.
