The river Tyne runs through Newcastle & Gateshead, and then it flows into the North Sea. According to the old folk song, the Fog on the Tyne is all mine, all mine.

Tynemouth is a very beautiful place to visit as well. Avoid the International Life Center, as it is quite expensive.
