river of bass is:

warm summer evening with cigarette and glass

stars clear and bright above

quiet, mellow, holy heart-break moment

perched on a windowsill with the lights off

the scent of her still blooming in your mind

you can see the water from here

the lights shimmer off it

the trees shiver around you as the breeze goes by

and you take a drag and relax into yourself

finding one perfect moment, as the song plays, as you feel her fingers twining gently in your hair.
