High school located in Clarksville, Maryland very similar to Long Reach High School architecture-wise except that it happens to be built on a hill and has two stories whereas Long has three.

River Hill High School is one of the youngest high schools in Howard County. The school first opened in 1996 with a few students from neighboring villages and as the number of feeder schools grew so did the student population. What also attracts many to River Hill is the Technology Magnet Program, the 4x4 Semester Block Schedule, and atheletic achievements.
