A record label created by Peter Gabriel, created to celebrate music from all cultures. It's first release was Gabriel's soundtrack to The Last Temptation of Christ. Real World's sound is typically a Westernized ethnic sound, with lots of ambient production underneath varied world beat textures, courtesy of Michael Brook. Real World pumps a lot of money into their recording studio, and they have a week long jam session there called Real World Recording Week.
