We just had a "Product Development Meeting", where we the developers got together with the pres. and the VP's of sales and of marketing. The idea is to decide where we're going with this thing, because, you know, we're losing money on it. Most of it was kinda dull, but there were a couple of good moments:

The pres. had this to say about our S&M approach to date: "This has been a good exercise. We've learned a lot". What we learned was that nobody is writing us any checks.

The VP of sales had this to say about his sales reps: "I can burn through as many of them as I want, just keep hiring and firing them until I find the right people."

Business is fun.
