Prayer for Forgetting

You learn to worship what you can't forget	I wanted to write a poem that you would understand	The difference between us is cruelty	(prayer for the departed)
We are starstuff	I offer a toast to endings, and to forgetting	The lonely ones will find each other by the heat of their bodies	How to get dressed if you are a man
