A dimensionless number used in heat transfer in general and free and forced convection calculations in particular. Proportional to (Momentum diffusivity) / (Thermal diffusivity force).

Pr = (CP mu) / k

CP: heat capacity, k: thermal conductivity, mu: viscosity
