Yet another game in Konami's wildly popular Bemani series. Pop'n Music is very close to Beatmania in gameplay, except features nine buttons, no turntable, and has a much cuter style. Becuase of the way it appears, with much brighter colors than the beatmania series, many people think the game is for Konami's younger, female, less skilled (*Ahem* None relating to the others) audience. True, the game is more "feminine" than Beatmania, but its difficultly quickly ramps up to one equal or even harder to Beatmania, and much harder than Dance Dance Revolution. The game has a very strong following in Japan, and a small, but almost cult-like following in the United States. Currently, there are over 25 different releases of Pop'n Music available.
