A glorious bay along the Garden Route (in South Africa). This is the place to go to collect Pansy Shells. Previously they were in abundance, but are now far more scarce as Plett's popularity as a holiday resort continues to increase.

Plett (as it is affectionally known) boast a fine stretch of white sandy beach, and a rather pleasant water temperature, without the dangers of sharks.

The Beacon Isle hotel, a slightly hideous very opportunistic development that would never get planning permission in a first world country in this day and age, takes pride of place on the waterfront.

Plett has, in recent years, grown ever more popular due to being the favoured haunt of the Springbok Rugby Team as they gather together before hosting or embarking on foreign tours.
