A section in FCC regulations that limits unlicensed power transmission from antennas and unintentional radiators.

Under Part 15, Section 15.209 states that an educational institution can broadcast an AM signal over their entire property without a license. In these cases, owners and operators have an exception to the firm EIRP numbers in the regulations, but their transmitter and antenna are still considered to operate as an unintentional radiator, so they have to go to whatever lengths necessary to resolve complaints with a licensed stations or radio listeners receiving interference from them.
