Curling is an interesting sport, in that it's a lot like bowling on ice. Including the consumption of beer while playing it.

It's not considered a real sport by many people, including some of the people who won some of these medals. It's a fun game though, and I suggest you try it some day. Just don't forget the beer.

It didn't become a full fledged Olympic sport until the 1998 games in Nagano, Japan, however exhibition games were played at the Olympics in 1924, 1932, 1988, and 1992.
