Before there was cable TV with Discovery Channel and Nature there was MOWK. It was a weekly network television show in the United States during the 60s and 70s about animals and the behavior of animals. The "in nature" scenes were shot with scratchy 8 mm cameras, usually with elevator music in the background. The host, Marlin Perkins, an older gentleman, mostly described the part of the world the show was visiting that week, while his young, foolhardy assistant "Jim" got to run from lions and wrestle alligators.
Jim's in trouble here, since he is in the alligator's home turf. Uh, oh.
