His
real name is Michael Roberts, and first found fame in the early
1990s with his
band "Push Push", who had a
number one single in
New Zealand with "Tripping" (or "Trippin'"), in the
video for which Mikey wore a
Nine Inch Nails t-shirt.
He and Newsboy (Jeremy Wells) are now a staple on New Zealand television, where they can say whatever they like.
