One reason. At the bottom of the marriage license, ahem, there is small writing of which I'd like to call the Castration Clause. Archaic, but still in effect, if said husband cheats during period of matrimony, his spouse has the option of having him castrated. Ladies, same goes for you, and I would be wary because I don't really think West Virginia or any of its citizens has figured out how to do that procedure yet. It could get messy.
