Oh,dirty Maggie Mae they have taken her away
And she never walk down Lime Street any more
Oh the judge he guilty found her
For robbing a homeward bounder
That dirty no good robbin' Maggie Mae
To the port of Liverpool, They returned me to
Two pounds ten a week, that was my pay...

-Traditional English Tune.
Appeared on, most prominently, The Beatles' 1970 Album Let it Be

I used to live in Birkenhead, which is about 10 kilometers south of Liverpool, across the Mersey(yes, yes, don't sing that song. Anyway, this is a place where people still sing in bars. This is a pretty popular tune, but I didn't know the words until years after I first heard it, because,
being drunk + having a Scouse accent = incoherent.
