The nom de rap of poet/musician (mainly a trumpeter) Mark Griffin; he got the name from a(n in)famous fundraising appeal by Oral Roberts. Griffin's recordings have progressed from too-quirky hip-hop (circa Hell With The Lid Off) to music that's roughly equivalent to a Southern (U.S.) male version of Jane Siberry's (for lack of a better analogy at this time).
