A coastal wilderness area
in Humboldt County
. It stretches almost eighty miles along the California
coast. This is North America
's longest span of untouched beach on the Pacific Coast
outside of Canada
. The area also includes the Kings Range National Conservation Area
and Sinkyone Wilderness State Park
. Picture miles of black sand beach and beautiful sweeps of sheer cliff. Streams cascade down the mountains to become rivers when fresh water meets salt. Occasionally a whif of ganja
blows down from lush greenery far above.
I had my first psychedelic experience here -- see Mushroom trip #1.
