The Linux Router Project, or LRP, is an attempt to fit a networking-centric Linux distribution onto a 1.44 megabyte floppy disk.

It can come in handy if you're trying to put an old 486 into service as an inexpensive router or other similar network function, since all the parts required to put such a machine together should be available for free or very low cost.
