Liljeholmen

Liljeholmen is a suburb to Stockholm, known from its old candle factory. The Liljeholmen brand of candles is world famous in all of Sweden, almost a synonym to the word candle indeed. Nowadays, only hi-tech companies and government agencies like VINNOVA are housed at Liljeholmen. Liljeholmen is the next station after Hornstull on the red line subway going south-west. At Liljeholmen, the line branches towards Norsborg and Fruängen. If you want to go to Aspudden, be sure to be on the Norsborg branch, or you will end up in Midsommarkransen instead.
