Kopi O, rounds out the Blessed Trinity of common Malaysian beverages, the other two corners of the triangle being Teh Tarik and Milo Ais.

Kopi O is basically a thick sludgy coffee made from beans that have been roasted in butter. The "O" in "Kopi O" means that it is not served with milk. If you ask for simply a "Kopi", it is served with a large dollop of condensed milk (ahhh.. sweet cholesterol ecstasy...)

More than one Kopi O in a row is guaranteed to bring you heart palpitations, uncontrollable sweating and an urgent need to evacuate your bowels - all part of the rich tapestry of that ritual enjoyed by the true coffee lover.
